Should you buy Dany Genius Tab Q3 for 14,000 rupees in Pakistan
While full review is on the way, let’s have a quick view of Dany tablet - Genius Tab Q3. The price of the product is Rs.14,000. The design is sleek; it is inspired/copy of iPhone in a size of 7inch, impressively good IPS display powered by quad core. Genius Tab Q3 comes with one year free service warranty from Dany Tech.
Knowing some of the highlights, should you buy this tablet? Well, as much as I wanted to like this tablet I will not suggest anyone to go for this product.
In fact, what we have heard from many Dany users and some of Dany's insiders, do not and I repeat do not buy Dany Tablets at all for the time being. Most common problem is with battery and charging. Second more common problem is durability. The devices are very fragile, very breakable.
When you ask this same question from shops, they will tell you Dany is flying off the shelves, and it is true. Dany is a well-known and reputed name in country. We trust Dany and instead of trying a product from unknown company we preferred to buy it from known and trusted source even if it costs more for the sake of getting a year of warranty.
Not all quad core processors are made equally and one used in Dany Q3 are slow as dual core. The slowness is obvious during the apps menu scrolling. In playing games the responses from g-sensor are also delayed.
Lags could be acceptable but under rs. 10,000. However the durability is serious issue. And the problems with charging and the battery is very high among other complains. Let the company Dany Tech be more experienced in tablets' business first before buying products from them.

ReplyDeleteI want to Install Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean from SDCard to Q3
Are you sure it is the same Q3 you are talking about because this Q3 by Dany (Pakistan) comes with 4.2 out of the box. And I don't think there is any ROM available for it yet.
DeleteThe most stupid tablet ever. Never buy DanyGenius Tab G4. Wastage of money.
ReplyDeleteAll Dany Tablets are lame. -,-

Deletei am going to purchase DANY Q3 QUAD CORE in 7000 Rs ... should i do ??
ReplyDeleteI sold mine for Rs. 6000 2 months ago. I think it is not worth it. Look for a better brand in used market, you will find better deal for better equipment.

My friend, Most of Dany's tablets have got troubles, specially with battery and charging. Their quality is not as good as they said before sales.
DeleteI have recently bought Dany Q3.
ReplyDeleteI am so far happy with it. I haven't faced any lags or battery or charging issues at all. Colors are good as well. Camera is not much impressive but it does the job keeping in mind its a mid ranged Tablet it does hold its self very well. It may have been facing that type of issues before or maybe I am the lucky 1 who got the one they managed to build right :p
Anyways bottom line: Its a nice tab, do keep in mind how much it costs If you are looking for something better go buy a nice High-end tab or phablet like xperia z tabs or samsung or iTAB what ever you like.
But in this range it doesn't get better than this.
My unknown friend, I wasn't comparing it with iPad or any high-end tablet. I was comparing it to one of the lowest spec tablet made by a China firm - Ainol, Ainol Tornados was a million times better product with just single core processor. Screen was great, sound was great. But it was pretty low. And I used some low-spec androids.
DeleteMaybe now they changed hardware in it or something but anyone I asked, any piece I saw of that model was pathetic at best.
If you are happy with that machine, it is a good thing. :)
iPad not iTAB wrote mistakenly.
ReplyDeletecan anybody tell me how is the camera
ReplyDeleteNot worth it.
Deleteplz sugest me a good tab which is less than 10000 pkr
ReplyDeleteIn that range, Amazon Tablets, the 2gb versions, those are good. Don't buy any tablet, any device under 2gb ram now. Take anything that has 2 or above GB RAM. And yes, don't buy Dany,
Deleteis there any galaxy wifi tab under 10000 pkr
